Jason Goodchild, was nominated as the Military Governor in Jan 2023. He is currently the Military Operations Manager for the Central and Wessex Region, responsible for the operational output for the military practices delivery of care to 45,000+ patients. He continues to serve in the Army as a Reservist after serving over 35 years in the Army retiring in 2021 with the rank of Maj.
Married with four children and one grandchild, he has limited free time though he can be found on a  court playing either squash, tennis or badminton at the amateur level.
